Trading fee
A 0.05% fee is charged on the position size (collateral × leverage) when you open, and again when you close. The opening fee is paid from your balance on top of the collateral, so your liquidation price isn't affected by it; the closing fee comes out of what the position pays back.
| Example | Position size | Open fee | Close fee | Round trip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100.00 at 10× | $1,000.00 | $0.50 | $0.50 | $1.00 |
| $100.00 at 50× | $5,000.00 | $2.50 | $2.50 | $5.00 |
| $1,000.00 at 5× | $5,000.00 | $2.50 | $2.50 | $5.00 |
Because the fee scales with position size, the same 0.05% costs a larger share of your collateral at higher leverage. On $1,000.00 of size it is $0.50 each way.
Other costs
- Funding and borrowing may apply while a position is open. See Funding & borrowing.
- Network fees are paid to the blockchain, not to Evergreen, whenever you sign a transaction.
